This was a Brand Identity Project I received during my second year of studies for an imaginary African Safari company called 'Desturi Safari'.
After being told the type of company, along with all the basic information we needed before starting the project, I began sketching a few logo ideas along with researching other existing safari companies in Africa for some inspiration.
After receiving feedback from my tutors and course mates, I managed to create a logo that I was really proud of. Based out of a diamond shape I created the two initial letters of the company's name which is 'D' and 'S'. I rotated them in a horizontal direction as it would make it easier for me to add text underneath without it looking awkward. I decided to go for a serif typeface for that modern and expensive look, along with using a gold gradient for the logo and the text to bring out the luxury feeling this company possesses.
I then continued with designing potential materials the company's hotel might have. I designed business cards, posters, t-shirts, social media platforms along with plenty of mockups presenting the logo in an executive way.
